A funny moment from your life that you can share: Growing up, we were fortunate enough to have property where my father could hunt and get an elk each year. Whenever we needed hamburger, I just went to the freezer, and magically, it was always there. Fast-forward to my first year of college in Los Angeles. I was asked to pick up the meat for burgers, so I went to the grocery store and asked the clerk if they carried elk meat. You can imagine the look on his face! I was completely stumped and finally had to confess that I had no idea what other kind of meat you would use for hamburgers. That was the day I learned cows were used for more than just milk.
If you could invite anyone (past or present) to dinner, who would it be, and why: Julia Child. She was a whirlwind of delight, and I know we would be laughing uncontrollably while eating fabulous food!
