Matt!

Love the new newspaper! We love everything about Canby and its local small town feel and community. Thanks for running with this vision and making it happen for us!

Grateful!

-Benton

Dear Matt,

Congratulations on the premiere edition of the Canby Chronicle.  Like you, my wife and I believe there are so many feel-good stories within our community that need to be told.  You will be receiving our check for a two-year subscription by midweek.

On another note, a couple of months ago I emailed you expressing how much we enjoyed your monthly magazine. In said email I also proposed a feel-good story about Clare Burnum-Davis giving back to our community.  You and your staff deserve a big thank you and job well done for publishing the article. Thanks to Donovan Darling for his efforts and to Angie Helvey for applying her writing talents. The article has only been out for a couple of days and is already generating positive feedback from within the Canby community and beyond. It demonstrates your philosophy of printing “stories worth telling.”

My wife and I look forward to receiving future copies of both the Canby Chronicle and Canby Advantage magazine.

Sincerely,

 Sheila & Dub Burnum

Matt,

Congratulations on the launch of the Canby Chronicle! Delighted to see it out in the public. Thank you for making it happen.

Grateful to live here, and I have no doubt that the Chronicle will enhance our lives.

All the best,

Steve N.

What a joy to have The Canby Chronicle! Thank you so much for this publication. It truly is magic. What a joy to sit in my home in my chair and read this paper. It reminds me so much of me at home as a child. I was born and raised in a small town in California with a train going right through it. I have been in Canby for ten years and so love this community. The paper's font is exactly like my hometown paper, The Hanford Sentinel. Talk about going full circle !

Best to all of you, Harvey B

Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed the history article on Barlow. We are new to the Canby area (January 2025) and it was so very interesting to see all the different names of those involved within the community that we recognize. We have driven by the Barlow house many times, but never knew the story.  Please continue to educate us.

Great job!
